A ship you build for the next trip

Adventure mode links island exploration to gathering materials, making equipment and building. The technology tree runs from stone tools toward electricity, and you can furnish a custom ship with beds, chests and decorations. Sailing and preparing for travel are the useful overlaps with Valheim.

Adventure, Creative and the Editor

Adventure is the main exploration and crafting mode. Creative makes resources available for unrestricted building. The Editor supports custom creations and blueprints, while Community Games are a separate part of the offer. Choose Adventure if your group wants to gather materials for its projects.

Consider the game available now

Read Bohemia Interactive’s notice that further content updates are not planned before starting a long project. Check current multiplayer instructions with your group. The free route here is the PC base game on Steam, with optional purchases and packs; the Nintendo Switch edition has separate pricing.

Installation

1. Open the official Steam page for the free PC base game.
2. Read the hardware requirements and the developer’s content-update notice.
3. Choose Adventure or Creative, and confirm the multiplayer setup with friends.
