A home between resource trips
Housing, building blocks, furniture and gardening make Palia relevant if making a home was your favourite part of Valheim. You can also fish, mine, forage, cook and follow quests. The focus is a fantasy life sim, with different priorities from survival combat.
Solo does not mean offline
You can pursue activities alone, but the game still needs an account and internet connection. Official platforms include Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Use a different entry if an offline world or self-hosted survival server is essential.
The optional shop
The base game is free. The purchase FAQ describes Palia Coins as currency for premium cosmetics, and Steam lists paid packs separately. Read the contents before buying. The PC requirements shown here come from Steam; check your console’s store when choosing another platform.
Installation
- Choose your platform through the official Palia website.
- Check the device requirements and create the required account.
- Install the free base game; optional cosmetics and packs are separate purchases.
